A regional payment network requested an analysis of its capabilities, rules and regulations in relation to the growing industry of electric vehicle (EV) charging, with the end goal of identifying gaps and issues and properly updating its rules and regulations. To make this happen, they needed a partner who knows the EV charging market and the different payment methods around this industry, and can provide the proper recommendations for improvement.

Their rules and regulations have been upgraded to support the EV charging payment use cases. With the new implementation guide, this segment of the network services was clearly articulated to the network partners and customers.
