Challenge

A European Fintech startup has come up with a concept of a Buy-now-pay-later payment method providing a solution for instant consumer credit at checkout. While having all business relationships, legal and marketing components in place, the customer needed a technology partner able to deliver a custom-made solution to market.

Solution

What we did to support our client:

  • We designed the consumer digital onboarding flow, taking into account customer's product specifics, applicable regulatory requirements, and the wishes of customer's business partners - financial institutions.
  • We designed an Application Programming Interface for payment service providers and merchants, implemented the developer portal and the sandbox environment.
  • We performed customization of the user interface of our Digital Onboarding Platform, bringing it in line with customer's brand book, UI guidelines, and operational processes.
  • We designed and operationalized the customer's digital service delivery infrastructure, and integrated our Digital Onboarding Platform with various value-added service providers, platforms, networks.
  • We designed and implemented modern fraud prevention techniques, featuring data driven analysis of various risk metrics, device fingerprinting and combining rule-based risk mechanisms with machine learning models.
  • We designed and implemented a set of plugins for merchants, marketplaces and payment gateways.
  • We supported the customer with their numerous integration projects with merchants, payment service providers, and financial institutions.
